Description
Sterile Ceftriaxone Sodium 1000 mg + Sulbactam Sodium 500 mg
The efficacious fusion of Sterile Ceftriaxone Sodium and Sulbactam Sodium makes Ranceft-S 1.5 Injection, which is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. Bodily infections (bone, joint, soft tissue, skin, and wounds). Ceftriaxone and sulbactam for injection are indicated for infections caused by sodium-sensitive pathogens. It may be indicated in clinical settings for sepsis, meningitis, abdominal infections (e.g., peritonitis, biliary tract infection), bone, joint, soft tissue, skin, and wound infections. Bacterial infections occur when harmful bacteria enter your body, multiply, and spread throughout your body.
Bacteria multiply rapidly and can infect any organ in your body. Many bacteria emit toxins that can damage your tissue and make you sick. Bacterial infections can cause minor illnesses such as sore throat and ear infections, as well as serious brain infections (e.g., meningitis, encephalitis). When you are infected with bacteria, you may experience generalized symptoms such as fever, chills, and fatigue. While anyone can get a bacterial infection, weakened immune systems or immunosuppressive medications such as steroids can increase the risk of infection.
