Sterile Ceftriaxone Sodium 500 mg SWFI is used to treat infections caused by the bacteria present inside and on your body, including gonorrhea, pelvic inflammatory diseases (which can lead to infertility), and meningitis (which can lead to infertility), and meningitis (which is an infection of the membranes around the brain and spine). It is also used to treat infections in the lungs, ear, and skin, as well as in the urinary tract, blood vessels, bones, joints, and abdomen. It is also used before certain types of surgeries to help prevent infections that may occur after the surgery.
Ceftriaxone injection belongs to a group of antibiotics called cephalo-pesticides, which work by killing bacteria. Antibiotics like ceftriaxone injection will not help with colds, flu, or other viral infections, and using antibiotics when not needed increases the risk of developing an infection that can resist antibiotic treatment. Side Effects
